We Are Not Invisible

We are not invisible, but we are responsible.

We are responsible for our brothers and sisters no matter the color of our skin, hair texture or dialect with the words we say. Sitting watching a documentary of Tony Robbins I’m reminded that we are responsible for those we interact with. Even if it’s just a brief moment in time we are responsible for creating change in that moment.

We’ve allowed the way of the world to interfere with our daily responsibilities. This life we live is not about us. So many people are going through things that we could never imagine. We are consumed with the technologies that’s set before us, the burdens of our own problems that we never take the moment to look up. To stare someone in the eye and actually make it your duty to create a change.

How can we be fully fulfilled if we don’t fill the people around us? It’s so hard to receive what’s needed if you don’t create room for it. The way you do that is by treating others the way you would want to be treated. Doing unto others what you feel you need in return. Wow! People are not invisible and we are responsible.

Take the time to notice someone. To really notice them. Take the time to create change in every encounter. You may just meet your healing or be able to heal someone else.

Task:

Connect with 5 people throughout your week. How can you create change, or just take the moment to learn something new about that person. You’ll be surprised at the change and joy it brings within you.
