Our November Spotlight Feature
Here at Style-Ography we are so excited to have our youngest Feature on our platform. Take a look below to see Auriyonnie's journey and how at a young age, she’s connected to her purpose in life.
Style-Ography: Tell us a little about yourself Auriyonnie, what do you feel your purpose is in life?
Auriyonnie: I am currently a cheerleader, in the band where I play the flute, and I am also in love with shopping. I am also a part of the yearbook committee which I love!
With discovering my purpose, I feel that my purpose is to inspire other kids to chase their dreams at any age and anytime. You are never too young to walk in purpose.
Style-Ography: Briefly describe your journey to getting connected to your life’s purpose.
Auriyonnie: The way I discovered my purpose was when a teacher in my school, was hard on me and made me feel down when I was writing. She made me feel so angry and depressed that in that moment I doubted myself. From that moment on I promised myself that I would prove her wrong and show her that I can write and be a success in her class. Just from me changing my mind and creating motivation within myself, I committed to writing a book over the summer.
Style-Ography: By the way, we loved your book! How does it make you feel to be able to share your stories with the world?
Auriyonnie: It's scary sometimes when you see everyone in front of you or the thought that people all over the world can and will read my book, but I remind myself, and think of all those people as my supporters and I tell myself that I shouldn't be afraid because there here for me. They are cheering me on.
Style-Ography: So, what’s next? We can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of Super Hero Besties in the Big 6. Are you planning on creating more books in your future?
Auriyonnie: Yes! After “Super Hero Besties in the Big 6”, there's another piece of that series. There's going to more books, of course! I can't give you the names of the books but I can tell you there's more to come.
Style-Ography: Nice! Well, we can’t wait and hopefully when can get an exclusive when part two comes out.
What advice would you give to a group of young teen girls who’s pursuing a dream or their purpose?
Auriyonnie: I would tell that they are amazing! There's not a lot of people who can do what they do, they are one of a kind.
